💰 Belleville Police Board Insists 15% Budget Hike Critical for Officer Safety
Belleville's police board approved a $33.5 million budget for 2026 despite council's five per cent target. The 15 per cent increase would add 3.5 per cent to property taxes while hiring eight new officers. 🏥 RBC Foundation investing $600,000 into new Prince Edward County hospital
Here's some good news worth celebrating. The Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation just received a $600,000 grant from RBC's Community Infrastructure Fund for solar panels on the new hospital.
