🎄Bay of Quinte Christmas Event Dates

As the holiday season approaches, there are plenty of festive events to look forward to in our community. From parades to markets, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Here are some key dates to mark on your calendar. Stay tuned for more updates and reminders as these dates approach. Happy planning! 🎅🎄

The CP Holiday Train will visit Belleville and Trenton on November 29, 2024. It will stop at Belleville's Keegan Parkway crossing from 9:30 to 10:00 AM and Trenton's Railway Crossing on R.C.A.F. Road from 10:45 to 11:15 AM. The event features live performances by Tyler Shaw and Shawnee Kish, aiming to raise money, food, and awareness for local food banks.

The Belleville Santa Claus Parade will take place on Sunday, November 17, 2024, starting at 4:30 PM. This annual nighttime parade is a festive event for the whole family, featuring floats, music, and, of course, Santa Claus himself.

The Picton Santa Claus Parade will take place on November 24, 2024, at 1:00 PM on Main Street, Picton. Join the festive fun featuring music, clowns, marching bands, and more. The parade route runs from McFarland Drive to Talbot Street. Find more details on their facebook page.

Join the Bloomfield Night Time Santa Claus Parade on November 29, 2024, starting at 6 pm, with lights, music, and festive cheer! 🎅🎄 Event details here.

The City of Belleville has announced that the 2024 Festival of Lights will begin on November 15 at 5:30 PM. The launch event will take place at Jane Forrester Park on South Front Street.

The 71st Trenton Santa Claus Parade will take place on November 24, 2024, starting at 4:30 pm. The parade will begin at the Community Gardens (Centennial Park) and follow a route along Campbell St., turning left on Dundas St. E., crossing the Veteran Skyway Bridge, and continuing through downtown Trenton along Dundas St. W., ending at Queen Street. Participants are encouraged to decorate and light up their floats and vehicles. The event is organized by the Quinte West Chamber of Commerce, and donations are being accepted to help cover the costs.

The Enchanted Holiday Market in Downtown Belleville will run from November 29 to December 15, 2024, on Fridays to Sundays. This seasonal event offers a magical holiday experience with shopping, dining, entertainment, carriage rides, and visits with Santa. Everyone is invited to this year’s Napanee Holiday Market, which will be held in the Banquet Hall at the Best & Bash Arena (16 McPherson Drive) on November 16, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. All vendors offering handmade and/or homegrown items are welcome! Calvary Church will have a table for gift wrapping, with proceeds going to Morningstar Mission. Registration for the Holiday Market is full, but those interested in joining the waitlist can contact Bethany Chadwick at 613-776-1127.

Also happening is this year’s Napanee Parade of Lights on Saturday, December 7, 2024, starting at 5:30 p.m. The parade will follow a new route, departing from the Napanee Fairgrounds (170 York Street). As we welcome the holiday season, the community is encouraged to come out and enjoy a night of festive floats and holiday cheer. Please refrain from parking vehicles along the parade route. Don’t forget to bring non-perishable food donations to be collected along the way, as well as your letters to Santa!

The Brighton Santa Claus Parade is set to bring holiday cheer to the community on Friday, November 15, starting at 7:00 p.m. The parade will begin at the intersection of Alice and Dundas Street and follow a route through downtown Brighton. Attendees can enjoy festive floats, local bands playing Christmas classics, and even a chance to send letters to Santa via Canada Post carriers along the parade route.
