šŸIs Dragon Rolls going to open?!šŸ‰

NYE events list, world juniors are in town, mortgage memo + much more...

šŸ Gooood morning everybody! This is the last time you will see the Buzz this year. And actually, the last time you’ll see the Buzz, as the Buzz. I’ll explain below.

Publisher’s Note: 2024 Wrap-Up (Please Read šŸ™‚)

I'd like to say thank you to ALL of you, whether you’ve been with us from the start, or just joined us today. About 5 months ago I sent my first email to 27 family and friends, and today this email will be delivered to 5,317 people in our community. I truly hope that this newsletter brings you helpful info, keeps you connected and, if anything, maybe a little grin or chuckle to start your day. I want to hear your feedback so feel free to send me an email - I love hearing from our readers, it’s the best part of this adventure.

First, this will be the last email of this year because to be quite frank, who wants an email the day before and after Christmas and I'm going to take some time to enjoy my son’s second Christmas with our family. It’ll also be the last email as 'The BoQ Buzzā€.

Second, in the new year when we show up in your inboxes, we are going to look different (new year, new me - ha… ha…). I’ve been working on a re-brand over the last month to create a better look and feel that will resonate more with our community and what we’re doing moving forward. The newsletter will be cleaner and easier to read with the same great content. Not to toot my own horn, but it looks awesome and I’m excited to share it. Bye-bye little bee, you’ll be missed ā˜¹ļø. If you see something that starts with BOQ in your inbox in January, that’s still us!

Third, over the past month we have connected with so many amazing organizations and partnered with them for press, news and media to continue to bring the most accurate and up to date info for you. So, our content is going to be even better.

Lastly, your support means a lot. This engine doesn’t run without you so thanks for staying on-board. We are striving to bring our community together so you can always know what’s going on in a positive and engaging environment. That being said, we keep this running by partnering with local advertisers. So please, if you see an ad or event in here, check the business out, give them a follow, go to the event!

So, for one last time THANK YOU, we have big plans for 2025 so stay subscribed and most importantly happy holidays, from my family to you and all of yours!
- Shane
