🔥 Blaze scorches Picton home Firefighters in Picton had a smoky 12:45 a.m. wake-up call on Sunday, tackling a $750K house fire that lit up a quiet stretch of Cumberland Street—thankfully, with no injuries and minimal damage to nearby homes. Crews will stick around to snoop out hotspots and track down the cause.

💧 Flushing alert
City of QW hydrant flushing is in full swing on the west side of the Trent River from May 12-23, stirring up sediment (and some murky tap water) to keep the pipes flowing.
Belleville’s hydrant flushing continues and is now hitting the south side of the C.N.R. tracks, between Moira River & Foster Avenue (including Foster Avenue).
🚢 Glenora Ferry Service Temporarily Closed The Glenora Ferry will be out of service from 7 a.m. May 12 to 5 p.m. May 13 for dock maintenance. It will also be closed from 7 a.m. May 14 to 5 p.m. May 15 for work at the Adolphustown terminal.
