The Answer
🍦 Scoop, There It Is!
We asked what’s the best ice cream flavour, and the answers were a buffet of nostalgia, chaos, and deliciously specific opinions.
🍁 Maple Walnut was the runaway winner — grandma definitely knew best.
🐯 Tiger Tail brought the hometown pride.
🍪 Cookie Dough fans? You’re just here for the chunks (and we love that).
🦌 Moose Tracks had a vocal fan club (we hear you!).
🍮 Salted Caramel, Pralines & Cream, and Death by Chocolate also scooped up love.
🍨 Bonus picks: Campfire, Ginger Rhubarb, Black Cherry, Swiss Mocha, and more.
Thanks for sharing your go-to scoops — if you don’t hear from us ever again — blame Death by Chocolate ice cream.

The city says cleanup crews will have it back online within days, but beware: even with a paint splatter, that camera might still catch your plate.

Foodie Friday - Reader Recommendations

This one comes straight from a local who couldn’t stop thinking about their meal after coming back from vacation — here’s what they had to say.
In October 2024, Charlie restaurant opened in Consecon. When we came back to our vacations in April we tried it. The atmosphere, the staff is fantastic. Well decorated and the food is just wow. We tried the North beach pie and we were flabbergasted by the presentation, the taste and the portion size. Highly recommended — so happy to see it in our Hamlet.
Good time Charlie is the life of every party, and now, the life of Consecon too. The menu looks delish — check it out here.
