On 18 July, Circular Materials Ontario takes the wheel of the cityās blueābox programme, dispatching Environmental 360 Solutions trucks through Trenton and Frankford neighbourhoods for curbside recycling. Four days laterā22 Julyāgarbage, organics and recycling all move to a refreshed calendar; residents can punch in their address on the interactive map at quintewest.ca/waste for exact pickup dates. No changes to what goes in the binājust have it curbside by 7 amāand itās all part of Ontarioās shift to extended producer responsibility.
š„ Belleville Names Kari Lambe New Community Services Director
Kari Lambe starts 12 May after leading recreation and facilities for Loyalist Township and community services in Gananoque and Huntsville. City leaders praised her proven track record in parks, events and culture as the deciding factor.
š¤ County Council and CAO Wallace Part Ways
County of Prince Edward Council and CAO Marcia Wallace have mutually agreed to end her contract, with her resignation effective 30 April after five years of leadership. Mayor Steve Ferguson thanked Wallace for her service and confirmed an immediate search for a new CAO, with an interim appointment to follow.

š B-Sens Keep Playoff Hopes Alive with Key Win Over Laval
The Belleville Senators are still in the hunt for a playoff spot after a crucial 2-1 victory over Laval. Xavier Bourgaultās game-winning goal in the third period helped keep their playoff dreams alive.
The B-Sens play Laval again on Friday and finish the regular season at home on Saturday (to a sold out crowd).
Hawks Head to Finals
The much-anticipated Buckland Cup Finals are set to begin this Saturday. The Trenton Golden Hawks are ready to host fans, despite some initial delays. Tickets will be available at the Box Office on Thursday, April 17th, from 10 am to 5 pm, and can also be purchased online.
