🐄 Local Farmers Markets

Ok, so it’s not official (that we know of) so it can be “The BoQ Buzz officially unofficial Farmer’s market week”. Why? August is a very important month for harvesting crops and we are very lucky to live in an area surrounded by some of the most amazing farming communities. Let’s get out there and support our local farmers markets this week.

🏒 Nick Cousins to Bring the Cup Home

The city of Belleville is back on the road map for the Stanley Cup’s annual journey. This time, it’s Belleville native Nick Cousins who gets to wear the badge of honour. After 2 long and hard-fought seasons with the Florida Panthers, our hometown star hoisted the silverware over his head after the Florida Panthers defeated the Edmonton Oilers 2-1 in Florida back on June 24th. It was a phenomenal night for Cousins, for the Florida Panthers and for hockey fans all over the Quinte region.

Nick has confirmed the Stanley Cup will be in Belleville on August 20th, and yes, there will be a public portion to his day with Lord Stanley. We are going to add details on location and time of the event when we hear more. Stay tuned and stay subscribed.
