In this weekโs buzz;
๐ Bus talk

๐ฌ New businesses in downtown Belleville

๐ Is Belleville the Pizza capital of Canada?
Before we dive in, last week we posted a picture of a new pizza store, 241 Pizza, that is set to open up soon. It sparked quite a Facebook comment section about how Belleville has an insanely high number of pizza shops. So, we counted. The number is 23. That gives us almost 4 pizza shops per 10,000 citizens. To put that into perspective, Toronto has 2 pizza shops per 10,000 - weโre almost DOUBLE. The County had 2.4 per 10,000, and Quinte West was 1.8 per 10,000. Safe to say you Bellevillians LOVE your pies and arenโt afraid to spread the love either!

๐๐ฟ Go Transit Goes Green
Will they be made by Tesla? Will we call it a MuskBus? Anyhow, Belleville will be welcoming 4 hybrid buses, an accessible mobility bus, and 2 accessible vans, replacing old diesel ones. Plus, expect a smart fare card system, better bus stop accessibility, new sidewalks on College Street East, and a trail linking Sidney Street to the Moira River. More on the announcement.
