In Case You Missed it…

Belleville’s aiming for a world record. On Saturday, July 19, the city is turning into one massive, community-wide garage sale in a bid to snag the Guinness World Record for ā€œWorld’s Biggest Yard Sale.ā€

And that’s not all — the whole thing is being filmed for a new TV series called Belleville Yard Sale, set to hit Bell FibeTV1 this October.

At the helm? Local legend and YouTube prankster-turned-community-champion Kyle Woolven, who’s pulling together neighbours, businesses, and anyone with a basement full of forgotten treasures.

The event is raising money for United Way Hastings & Prince Edward, with 100% of proceeds going to local charities. Want in? You can register your sale (and maybe win a $550 prize pack) over at bellevilleyardsale.ca.
