Million-dollar homes
A plan for 11 single-detached homes priced at $900K+ is in the works for County Road 28 in Rossmore. Residents at a recent planning meeting raised concerns about traffic, wetlands, and future development, while developers noted potential for more homes on adjacent land. Bellevilleās $28.9M Sunshine List revealed
Bellevilleās Sunshine List included 215 municipal employees last year, with the city shelling out $28.9 million in salaries. Former interim Police Chief Chris Barry topped the list at $229,549, followed by retired CAO Rod Bovay at $220,548. The police service accounted for the largest share of costs, with 91 employees making the list. ("The Intelligencer")
