Together With

Gooood morning Bay of Quinte!

While most folks are still accepting the fact we’ve moved into pumpkin spice season, Belleville's already hunting for their holiday centerpiece.

The city's on the prowl for towering spruce trees over 24 feet tall, proving that Christmas tree shopping is a bit more complicated when you're shopping for an entire municipality. One has to wonder if they include tree removal in the deal, or if this is just a very clever way to avoid paying an arborist. If you’ve got a tree that could light up downtown, the city’s form is open until October 13.

That’s one way to spruce things up — now let’s branch out to what is happening around the BOQ.
