Are you looking to support local this holiday season? We made a shop local holiday gift guide. You can check it out here. It’s got everything from Lululemon to lemon scented candles and much more with stores from Stirling to Picton and everywhere in between. Here’s just 3 good reasons why we need to support local:

  1. Boosts the Local Economy: When you spend money at local businesses, more of that money stays within the community. This helps create jobs, supports local entrepreneurs, and strengthens the overall economic health of the area.

  2. Unique and Personalized Products: Local businesses often offer unique products and services that you won't find in larger chain stores. This can lead to a more personalized shopping experience and the opportunity to discover one-of-a-kind items.

  3. Builds Community Connections: Supporting local businesses fosters a sense of community. You get to know the business owners and employees, which can create a more friendly and connected neighborhood. This sense of community can enhance your overall quality of life.

🍔 Buy A Burger and Support Your Community
Novemburger ends Nov 30th, so there’s still time to enjoy some delicious burgers while supporting a great cause! Novemburger, organized by United Way Hastings & Prince Edward (HPE), has been a month-long event where local restaurants create unique burger masterpieces. Each burger sold contributes $2 to United Way HPE, helping fund multiple programs throughout the region. This year, nine local restaurants have participated, including The Local Social, Legendz Pub, and B BOYZ. Diners can vote for their favorite burger online, and the top three will be crowned People’s Choice Novemburger. Have you tried any of the Novemburgers yet?
