A friendly reminder to all registered citizens of the Bay of Quinte, Election Day is September 19, 2024. Please head to Elections Ontario to get all of your information on the election and how to vote.
🏚️ Everything You Need to Know About Rentals
Everyone has had a problem with this on one side of the fence or the other. Better to be prepared for the next time! The County of Prince Edward is hosting six free workshops on rental housing, aimed at both tenants and property owners. These sessions will cover tenant rights, property owner responsibilities, and eviction prevention. The goal is to foster successful tenancies and address affordable housing challenges. Workshops will be held at Picton Town Hall and virtually. Register by emailing [email protected] or calling 613-476-2148 ext. 1069.

📍 Belleville Public Library, 1st Floor Program Room
PAWS for Reading is a wonderful program where children can read aloud to a St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog to enhance their reading and communication skills. Each child will have a 15-minute session with a trained therapy dog and its handler in a comfortable and fun environment. For Beginner/Reluctant Readers ages 5 and up. Sessions are available at 4:00, 4:15, 4:30, and 4:45 p.m. Registration is required. For more details and to register, visit here.

⚾ A Season of Triumph: Challenger Baseball’s Unforgettable Year
Challenger Baseball has just concluded its most successful season to date! The program, which started with 45 young participants with disabilities playing once a week at Loyalist College, has now grown to include 145 players aged 4 and up. Challenger Baseball is an adaptive baseball program designed to empower children, youth, and adults living with physical and/or cognitive disabilities.
