COMMUNITY SNAPSHOT

We’re so lucky to live where beautiful waterfronts surround us. Photos like the one below always remind us that you can enjoy a waterfront sunset, even in the winter. Local outdoors adventurer Nikki De Haan captured this beautiful shot at Presqu’ile Provincial Park. Give her a follow; she captures some amazing shots of the BOQ and many other ā€œpic-worthyā€ places.

Did you know? Presqu’ile is home to Presqu'ile Point, which juts out into Lake Ontario and is the site of one of the oldest lighthouses on the Great Lakes, built in 1840. The lighthouse still stands today, providing a picturesque and historical element to the park. It was initially built to help guide ships navigating the often treacherous waters around the point.
