ššøBelleville and Prince Edward County Get a Boost with RED Grants
Ontarioās Rural Affairs Minister Lisa Thompson announced exciting RED grants in Belleville. The Downtown District gets $57,427 to hire Yona Harvey as the new PR and Membership Coordinator, while Prince Edward County receives $65,000 for workforce training. More on the announcement on QuinteNews. If youāre like me and donāt know what a RED grant is, itās basically money from the Ontario government to help rural areas grow and thrive. It funds projects that create jobs, improve skills, and attract businesses. Think of it as a boost to make small towns and communities even better places to live and work.
