🤤 Countylicious 2024 Menus Unveiled

Countylicious is back, launching this year’s menus with a delectable lineup! It looks like over 20 restaurants are participating, like The Royal, Beau Bistro, and Flame & Smith to name a few. They’re offering special prix-fixe menus that showcase local flavors. Diners can enjoy a variety of dishes crafted by top chefs, making it a perfect time to explore the culinary delights of Prince Edward County. See the line-up here! 🛒Kick it to the Curb!

Ready to declutter? Belleville and Quinte West’s Giveaway Days are on October 19-20. Put your unwanted goodies (DVDs, books, furniture, etc.) curbside by 8 a.m. for others to snag. Just don’t include cribs or car seats—safety first! Retrieve leftovers by 8 p.m. We'll remind you closer to the date, but for now, give a heads-up to any hoarders you know!

👔 Need a Job for the Winter?

Belleville is hosting a Winter Operations Casuals Hiring Event today and tomorrow seeking 14 individuals for snow clearing and maintenance roles. The event runs from 9 a.m. to noon and 4 to 7 p.m. at 31 Wallbridge Cres. Bring a resume and valid driver's license.

It might not look like much right now, but we got a scoop that this Pho restaurant has some top-notch food. The owners currently run a restaurant under the same name in Oshawa. Here’s the menu from that location, which we can only hope will be similar for the Belleville location. We will tell you all about it when we hear more.

PAWS for Reading is a program that allows children to read aloud to a therapy dog to improve reading and communication skills. Kids can enjoy reading to a friendly, trained therapy dog in the cozy 1st Floor Program Room.
