ℹ️ Belleville’s 50+ Info Fair
The City of Belleville’s Older Adult (50+) Information Fair returns on Tuesday, Sept. 10, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre. This free event features over 50 exhibitors, seminars, free tote bags, snacks, vaccinations, and hearing clinics. Activities include games, music, and presentations on dental care, license renewal, and tax credits. Mayor Neil Ellis encourages all 50+ residents to attend. Ha - thought we’d catch you with that one 🤣. Former Bay of Quinte MPP Todd Smith is now Vice-President of Marketing and Business Development at Candu Energy. He will lead marketing and business development outside Canada, leveraging his extensive experience in promoting nuclear energy and building strategic partnerships globally. 187th Picton Fair

Fair season is officially upon us, and we kick it off with one of the best. The 187th Annual Picton Fair begins this Friday. Enjoy a demo derby, midway rides, live music, horse and tractor pulls, and various agricultural shows. The fair also features flower and vegetable displays, a celebrity bake-off, and more. Belleville Downtown Blues Fest

Kicking off the Fall 2024 semester and the Loyalist Lancers varsity season, the festivities start at 5 p.m. with games, music, and food trucks. At 6 p.m., cheer on the Loyalist Lancers Women’s Soccer team as they face the George Brown Huskies. The night wraps up with a fireworks show at dusk. More here.
