🎉🍹🌴Caribbean Festival - Downtown Belleville

This is one event we’ve personally had our eyes on this summer. Get ready for a Caribbean extravaganza in Downtown Belleville! From August 16th to 18th, the streets will come alive with the infectious beats of reggae, soca, and calypso. Talented musicians will set the stage on fire, while the aroma of mouthwatering island dishes and refreshing tropical drinks fills the air. Don’t miss the vibrant street parade, where dazzling costumes and feathered headpieces showcase the exuberance of Caribbean culture. This is your chance to dive into a Caribbean adventure without leaving Belleville. Mark your calendars and join the fun – it’s going to be a blast! 🎉🍹🌴 Thanks to the festival committee, Discover Belleville, Downtown Belleville and Toronto Caribbean Carnival team for putting this amazing event on. Side Hustle Market will also be there with a wide array of unique artisan vendors so bring your shopping bags and your appetite, this is going to be a great weekend! Reminder, if you’re driving around the downtown Belleville area this weekend - Front St will be closed from Bridge St to Victoria Ave.

🏟️ Belleville’s Memorial Market Place Set for a Fall Debut

The doors may be opening again at 15 Market Sq behind City Hall. This time, it won’t be to watch a hockey game. Belleville’s Memorial Market Place is undergoing a transformation, and part of the first phase is set to open this fall with a new vendor, with the full renovation of the former arena expected by the end of 2026. Thanks to Taskforce Engineering, this project breathes new life into an old structure, promising a vibrant addition to the city’s downtown.
