As if running wasn’t already difficult… now there’s plogging! This quirky Swedish trend combines jogging with picking up litter, adding a fun twist to your workout. Originating from Sweden, plogging is now making waves worldwide. Participants jog while collecting trash, making our neighborhoods cleaner and greener. This is a super random trend sweeping across the nation. Who’s going to make a plogging club in town?

🏃 Terry Fox Run Another Success
The 44th annual Terry Fox Run at West Zwick’s Park in Belleville saw around 150 participants by 10:00 am. With $48,000 raised before the run, organizers hoped to surpass last year’s $50,000. The event featured enthusiastic runners and supporters, all united in the spirit of Terry Fox’s legacy, aiming to make a difference in cancer research.

💰 Funding Boost for Loyalist College
Great news for our future tradespeople! Loyalist College received $890,000 from the Ontario government to enhance skilled trades training. This funding aims to support students and address the growing demand for skilled trades professionals in the region.
