Quinte trails are off-limits for now
If an early spring hike was on your to-do list, hit pause — Quinte Conservation just closed all conservation areas thanks to that lovely little ice storm. With 75+ km of trails and 13 areas to clean up, staff are busy chainsawing their way back to normal. Heavy equipment’s in play, so for now, admire nature from your window — not the woods. Belleville extends yard waste hours after storm
If you’re like us and haven’t even bothered with the yard clean-up yet, you’re in luck. Belleville’s leaf & yard waste depot is staying open late this week to help with post-storm cleanup. You can drop off from 7:30 a.m. to 7:15 p.m., Monday to Friday at 75 Wallbridge Cres. (City of Belleville)
